Martensville Bldg & Home Supply Ltd is a locally owned and operated business. We provide quality service and building materials to both contractors and homeowners. We are currently looking for a Yard Worker. This is a part-time position and would be ideal for a high school or post-secondary student . The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and customer-oriented. Knowledge of construction would be an asset, but isn't required. We are looking for someone who genuinely excels at customer service. Duties will include but not be limited to loading and unloading building materials with a forklift and by hand, picking orders, and season yard maintenance.
What You’ll Do
- Assist customers in the lumber yard with loading materials
- Pull orders accurately and efficiently
- Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe
- Restock lumber, building materials, and inventory
- Help with deliveries (loading/unloading)
- Support yard staff with general tasks as needed
- Learn product knowledge and safe material handling
- Season yard maintenance as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Able to lift 50–75 lbs safely
- Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
- Friendly with customers and coworkers
- Safety‑minded and responsible
- Forklift experience is a bonus (training available)
