Fabrication Project Manager
Position Summary:
This position will oversee custom fabrication projects from initial customer contact through final delivery. This role combines project management, customer relations, and sales coordination to ensure projects are completed on time, delivered on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage fabrication projects from quotation through production and delivery
- Review customer drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Prepare and follow up on quotes and proposals
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and materials
- Communicate project updates to customers and internal stakeholders
- Identify new business opportunities and support sales growth
- Resolve project issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety rules, policies and the Act.
- Other duties as assigned by manager
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial project management
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes (welding, machining, forming, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with quoting, estimating, or sales support preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Customer-focused mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Team-oriented with leadership capability
Salary: $65,000-$80,000
This position is full time, day shift on site. Monday to Friday.
