Historical Research and Archival Project (St. Dunstan Industrial School)
Project Overview:
Under the supervision of Dr. Apooyak’ii / Tiffany Hind Bull-Prete, the research assistant will contribute to a historical research project examining the history of the St. Dunstan Industrial School in Calgary, Alberta.
This project involves reviewing archival records, transcribing historical documents, identifying individuals and events connected to the school, and conducting historical research to support a broader effort to document the history of the site before, during, and after the school’s operation.
Up to two Graduate Research Assistant positions may be filled through this competition.

Salary:
Hourly pay: $36 an hour.
Graduate Assistant wages are be paid according to Schedule A of the ULGSA Collective Agreement.

To be determined in consultation with research supervisor.

As soon as possible following the hiring process
Duration:
Through December 2026, with the possibility of continued employment in subsequent phases of the project, subject to project needs, performance, and available funding.
