Set-up/Assembly of farm equipment. Shipping & receiving whole goods and spare parts. Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products. Pick orders and stock. Make labels and attach to goods. Crate goods. Maintain and organize inventory and warehouse.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Set up/assembly of our farm equipment maintaining a high quality
- Problem solving
- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
- Perform other material handling activities such as counting, sorting, packing and unpacking
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
- Record shortages and report damaged goods
- Unpack incoming goods to appropriate storage area
- Record all inventory discrepancies to appropriate personnel
- Maintain and clean working area
Qualifications:
- Physical strength is required for manual warehouse personnel who work with heavy materials
- Forklift Operator experience an asset
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Previous experience in production/warehouse environment
- Knowledge of WHMIS and hazardous goods
- Able to operate a computer
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Reading and writing skills
- Excellent organizational skills
