Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Mechanic to join our heavy equipment mobile repairs team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment repair, maintenance, and diagnostics. The Licensed Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring machines meet safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive heavy Equipment repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs and maintenance tasks
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic codes to accurately identify issues
- Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostics to determine necessary repairs or maintenance
- Assemble, disassemble, and replace machine components with precision
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle
- Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Assist in routine maintenance tasks such as fluid changes and inspections
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and answering questions professionally
Requirements
- Valid mechanic license with relevant certifications required ( Red Seal)
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various machine systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as required during repair procedures
- Experience in machine repair including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair procedures
- Knowledge of machinr assembly processes and maintenance protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repair needs and timelines
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
