TYCROP is looking for an Assembler to join our team in the Fraser Valley.

Responsibilities:
- Install of purchased, assembled and preassembled chassis, fenders, fixtures and components of large equipment
- Assemble product components to maintain published schedule as directed
- Examine product for proper fit and function
- Lift/move assemblies & components to and on to the production line
- Prepare & maintain all associated production documentation
- Examine work performed in assigned areas
- Conduct installation inspections
- Practice safe work procedures at all times; lead by example
Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent
- Previous experience in assembly
- Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques an asset
Skills:
- Understand basic layout of patterns, schematics and blueprints
- Follow oral and written instructions; maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Critical thinking and decision making are key factors in a successful candidate
- Air system, chassis, hydraulic, mechanical knowledge
- Operate general hand & air tools for assembly and installations
- Operation of hand tools/power tools/ all measurement equipment/basic welding skills
- Demonstrates both ability and desire to improve process and reduce waste
