Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong commitment to quality work and safety standards.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, windows, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and break areas
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with safety protocols and company policies
- Monitor the condition of cleaning equipment and request repairs or replacements as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
