- Primary Cook in the daycare on-site kitchen
- Prepare meals according to the set-out daycare food menu
- Serve meals to classrooms, remove meal trays from classrooms
- Maintain all produce and other ingredients/products in good and fresh condition
- Maintain and track necessary quantities of all necessary produce, ingredients, and other products (including cleaning products)
- Responsible for keeping kitchen area in clean, tidy and sanitary condition
- Floater Educator helping Primary Educator staff in classrooms
- Answer the door for visitors such as parents
- Assist with undressing/dressing procedures upon Arrival/Departure of children
- Work in-ratio as needed
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits, potty training
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and wellbeing of children
- Assist the Program Supervisor at planing, organizing, controlling the day to day operations of the child care facility
- Responsible for ensuring that all relevant legislative requirements are met with 100% compliance
- Ensure the site is ready for business with all necessary supplies and equipment
- Perform scheduled clean up in classroom, common areas, bathrooms, outdoor play area, and kitchen.
- Performs other related assignments as required
