The Role
We're hiring CFAA-certified Fire Alarm Technicians with a minimum of 2 years of experience, from solid intermediate techs to seasoned veterans who have seen it all.
Whether you're confident handling the bulk of service calls or you're the person others turn to on the tough ones, there's a place here for you and a pay grade to match. This role rewards technical expertise, sharp troubleshooting, and a genuine commitment to dependable, high-quality service.
What You'll Do
- Inspect, test, verify, and repair fire alarm and life safety systems, including annual, semi-annual, quarterly, and monthly inspections of fire alarms, smoke control, and elevator fire controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on both addressable and conventional systems, from ground faults and open circuits to relays and auxiliary devices.
- Install, wire, and program new fire alarm panels and devices.
- Document your work accurately and on time, including any deficiencies, and resolve those deficiencies as identified.
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining the work plainly and making sure they leave the interaction confident in the service.
- Take part in after-hours on-call rotations, responding promptly and handling critical issues independently.

What We're Looking For
- CFAA certification (Canadian Fire Alarm Association) with a minimum of 2 years of experience required. More experience is welcome and well rewarded.
- Solid expertise in fire alarm systems: troubleshooting, testing, wiring, programming, and installation.
- Ability to complete and submit accurate, detailed inspection reports.
- Comfortable with iPads and mobile/digital reporting tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid Class G driver's license with a clean abstract.
- Residency in the GTA is preferred.
Pay
We pay based on experience and certification level:
- CFAA, 2+ years: $30–$35 / hour
- CFAA, 5+ years: $35–$45+ / hour
