Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires a blend of creativity, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to food handling and alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Stay updated on drink trends and new menu items to enhance guest experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
