SkilledReady is hiring hardworking and reliable General Labourers for a fire restoration project in Hawkesbury, ON.
The property has already experienced a fire, and your role will be to carefully remove, pack, label, and move the homeowner's belongings so they can be transported to a restoration facility for cleaning and storage. This is physical work that requires attention to detail and respect for customers' personal belongings.
Responsibilities
- Carefully pack household contents into boxes
- Label and organize packed items
- Lift and move furniture and household belongings
- Load boxes and items into moving trucks or shipping containers
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable with physical labour, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- CSA-approved safety boots required
- Reliable transportation to the job site
- Positive attitude and dependable attendance
- Previous moving, warehouse, restoration, or general labour experience is an asset but not required
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
