Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Poke Bowl Maker to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately handling transactions, and preparing delicious poke bowls in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Prepare poke bowls according to company recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including kitchen stations and serving counters
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and handling
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Provide friendly customer service, answer questions about menu items, and assist with special requests
- Help Kitchen on preparations of food but not limited.
Skills
- Previous food preparation and food service experience preferred, especially in restaurant or quick-service settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and upselling products
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset that contributes to a welcoming atmosphere
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
