In this position, you will support the technical delivery, including the environmental planning and permitting of privately owned infrastructure projects across Western Canada. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment while working on critical infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Include:
- Support project teams in meeting external client objectives and project-specific timelines.
- Conduct thorough desktop assessments and reviews using provincial and federal databases, technical drawings, and other resources to identify potential environmental risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Support provincial and federal permitting throughout the project lifecycle, working with our strong technical team to complete applications, regulatory notifications, and reporting; and collaborate with regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate environmental field studies, ensuring applicable project information is provided to the field crews and appropriate field data is collected to support permit applications and the drafting of technical documents.
- Manage project task budgets and support change management.
- Provide technical writing support for environmental protection plans or construction clearance documents.
- Assist with regulatory compliance activities related to provincial or federal legislation.
