Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cabin Cleaner and Janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in our facility. This role involves ensuring that cabins, tiny homes and common areas, and other designated spaces are spotless, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to providing exceptional custodial service in a hospitality or industrial environment.
This is a weekend day job with some hours during the week.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize cabins, guest rooms, restrooms, and public areas according to established standards
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and other communal spaces
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for all occupants
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to health and safety guidelines
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially within hotel or hospitality settings
- Experience with industrial cleaning or custodial work is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
