The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Training & Compliance Coordinator to support workforce readiness, employee compliance, and training administration across our organization.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary administrator for BIS Safety and related compliance management systems, ensuring employees maintain required qualifications, certifications, testing requirements, and client compliance standards.
This role plays a key part in ensuring employees are qualified, compliant, and ready to work while supporting employee safety, regulatory compliance, and operational success.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer BIS Safety and related workforce compliance management systems
- Coordinate employee training, certifications, orientations, and renewals
- Track workforce qualifications and readiness requirements
- Coordinate drug and alcohol testing programs
- Maintain training, testing, qualification, and compliance records
- Support COR, audits, and client compliance requirements
- Verify employee qualifications prior to deployment
- Coordinate workforce readiness with Human Resources and Operations
- Identify and communicate training, testing, or compliance gaps that may impact operations
- Support onboarding activities related to training and compliance
- Provide reception and front-office administrative support
- Coordinate office, training, and safety-related supplies
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in training, compliance, safety, or workforce administration
- Experience administering BIS Safety or similar workforce compliance management systems preferred
- Knowledge of Alberta Occupational Health and Safety legislation and industry compliance requirements
- Experience in oil and gas, industrial, energy services, construction, or related industries preferred
- Experience coordinating employee training, certification, and testing programs
- Strong organizational, communication, and records management skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, confidential, and customer-service-oriented approach
Additional Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support onboarding, workforce deployment, testing requirements, and operational needs
- Ability to support a fast-paced organization operating across multiple project locations
