Job description and tasks
In addition to regular teaching responsibilities, the role also includes:
- Involvement in pedagogical days organized by the College
- Participation in departmental meetings
- Involvement in student-focused activities such as field trips, competitions, and year-end Graduate Exhibition.
- Performing other department related administrative duties
Required Qualifications
- Master's in Fine Arts or equivalent degree
- Professional standing in the field of contemporary art: a record of exhibitions and a significant body of creative visual work as a practicing artist. Presentation of a portfolio will be required in selection process
- Specialization in one or more of the following Fine Art disciplines: painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, digital media
- Teaching experience at the College level an asset
- Excellent English communication skills essential
- General knowledge of French is an asset.
