We have a need for a Level 3 Crane Operator to join our adhoc team in the Newfoundland & Labrador Offshore sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES: What you will do
- Operate cranes to support with the onload, offload, and securement of containers
- Assist in the installation and removal of crane booms, extensions, and hook blocks
- Responsible for preservation and general maintenance of cranes and lifting equipment on the facility; clean and lubricate cranes
- Competently operate platform pedestal cranes under the direction of nominated client personnel
- Carry out routine checks on the crane following the maintenance procedures and pre-start checklist
QUALIFICATIONS: Your background
- Stage 3 Crane Operator Certificate
- 3-5 years of experience and competency in Offshore Crane Operations theory and practice
- Knowledge of materials management and radio operations
- Boom Truck Crane Operator Trade Certificate is an asset
- Basic Survival Training (BST)
- H2S Alive (Enform)
- Workplace NL Fall Protection
- Workplace NL Confined Space Entry Level 2
- Workplace Hazardous Material Information Systems (WHMIS)
- First Aid
