- Lead and supervise asphalt paving crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality paving operations
- Lead and supervise asphalt preparation crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality paving operations
- Coordinate daily paving activities including crew assignments, trucking logistics, and equipment operations
- Work closely with the Division Manager, Project Managers, and the Asphalt Plant to ensure proper material supply and production timing
- Ensure asphalt placement meets project specifications including grade, thickness, compaction, and smoothness
- Monitor rolling patterns, joint construction, and overall paving quality
- Lead paving operations for municipal roads, commercial parking lots, and residential driveways
- Maintain productivity while ensuring all safety policies and procedures are followed on site
- Conduct daily coordination to keep paving operations running smoothly
- Identify and resolve jobsite challenges quickly to minimize delays and maintain production targets
- Mentor and train crew members to build strong and efficient crews
- Complete daily reports including production quantities, crew hours, and jobsite notes
- 5+ years of experience in asphalt paving or road construction
- Previous experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or equivalent in construction operations
- Strong understanding of paving equipment including pavers, rollers, loaders, and skid steers
- Experience working on municipal roads, parking lots, and residential driveway paving
- Ability to read project plans and follow paving specifications
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to handle multiple crews efficiently
- Ability to maintain productivity while prioritizing safety and quality
- Excellent communication skills with field crews and project management teams
- Valid driver’s license
