Duties
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Perform variance analysis to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Assist with tax preparation and filing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making processes
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (University degree required)
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or similar systems
- Experience with account analysis and reconciliation
- Familiarity with corporate finance principles
- Knowledge of payroll processing and bank reconciliation procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
