We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques.
- Ensure all items are clean, organized, and stored appropriately for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including handling food items safely and following hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing dishwashing duties to prevent delays in service.
- Follow health and safety regulations to uphold sanitation standards within the kitchen environment.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures as required.
Skills
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail in food handling and sanitation practices.
- Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and food service is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Good teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items such as pots or trays when necessary.
