Job Summary
This role is responsible for transporting materials, maintaining clean and safe job sites, and assisting with general labour tasks. The ideal candidate is punctual, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Delivery & Transportation
- Safely deliver construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
- Load, secure, and unload materials to prevent damage or injury
- Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs
- Tow and maneuver trailers safely (preferred experience)
Job Site Clean-Up & Support
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free job sites
- Perform debris removal, scrapping, vacuuming, and disposal of construction waste
- Assist with sorting and proper disposal of materials
- Support trades and site supervisors with general labour tasks as required
- Ensure walkways, work areas, and access points remain clear and safe
General Duties
- Follow all workplace health and safety regulations
- Use hand tools and basic power tools safely
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Represent the company professionally on job sites and during deliveries
- Knowledge of drywall materials and basic processes is considered an asset
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy materials
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Awareness of construction site safety practices
Preferred
- Experience towing or operating a trailer
- Previous construction, delivery, or labour experience
- Familiarity with job site clean-up and scrapping practices
- Basic knowledge of tools and construction materials
- Experience or knowledge in drywall installation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry materials for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Work Schedule
- Weekdays
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Position Type: Independent Subcontractor (Contract)

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
