Job Overview
We are seeking licensed Journeyman Plumbers to join our team, providing expert plumbing services for commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. Candidates must hold a valid Journeyman license and possess a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems and related trades.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with industry standards and blueprints
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise installations
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely and effectively
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures, piping, and related mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot issues within plumbing systems using diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of plumbing components within building projects
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Document work performed accurately and communicate progress to project managers
Experience
- Valid Journeyman Plumber license required
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance across residential or commercial settings
- Mechanical knowledge including HVAC systems, carpentry, welding, and schematics reading preferred
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, basic math for measurements and calculations, and assembly techniques
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and schematics is essential
- Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding project workflows and safety standards
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods
