Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong background in various therapeutic techniques. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical disabilities or injuries to improve their mobility and quality of life. The Physiotherapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain.
- Provide hands-on therapy, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as appropriate.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and techniques.
Skills
- Proven experience in a hospital setting is preferred, particularly in acute care environments.
- Knowledge of pediatric physiotherapy practices is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.
