We are currently looking for a friendly face to help run our new location on Bay St!
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow recipes, portion control and presentation specification as set by the corporate standards
- Follow FIFO (First In First Out) to ensure quality and freshness of ingredients
- Assist in food inventory and control for costs
- Clean food prep areas, equipment, utensils and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines
- Scheduling staff and ensuring employee moral and control for costs
- Food and labour remaining within the set standard budget for the restaurant
- Training staff and ensuring the set guidelines are met, while maintaining morale
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in a fast-paced restaurant is an asset
- Experience in customer service and/or hospitality
- Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Able to stand for entirety of shift
- Ability to lead and guide staff
