Pro-Vac Solutions is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Field Service Technician to join our team, specializing in grease trap cleaning, drain cleaning, and maintenance for commercial kitchens, residential homes, and condo/strata buildings. You’ll perform essential cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of grease interceptors and drain lines to keep clients compliant with health, safety, and environmental standards—while preventing backups and costly downtime. As a valued team member, you’ll deliver quality service and help maintain strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough grease trap/interceptor cleaning and safe removal of FOG (fats, oils, grease) in commercial settings.
- Inspect grease traps and drain systems for damage or recurring issues; report findings and recommend repairs/maintenance.
- Safely operate and maintain equipment (vacuum systems/trucks, drum & sectional machines, wet/dry vacs, hydro-jetters where applicable).
- Communicate clearly with business clients, property managers, condo boards, and homeowners; provide prevention tips and best practices.
- Complete service reports, photos, and paperwork accurately and promptly after each job.
- Follow all company HSE procedures, including proper waste handling and disposal.
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle, keeping tools and supplies stocked.
- Collaborate with dispatch and the service team to improve efficiency and resolve operational challenges.
