This job offers the opportunity to work from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement. This arrangement will allow you to work some days at a TCHC work location and the rest of the time from home. Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) is seeking a Manager, Yardi Optimization & Implementation to lead the day-to-day delivery and optimization of the Homes (Yardi) platform. This role is accountable for managing program execution, coordinating with Yardi and internal teams, and ensuring approved Homes initiatives—particularly system optimization, stabilization, and incremental digitization—are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Reporting to the Director, Financial System Transformation, the Manager plays a critical execution and integration role across ITS, Finance, Operations, and external partners. The role focuses on translating approved strategy and priorities into executable workplans, managing risks and dependencies, and providing clear status, financial, and issue reporting to support executive decision-making.
What you’ll do
Program & Project Delivery

Manage as a Finance lead the end-to-end execution of approved Homes (Yardi) initiatives, including stabilization, optimization, and system enhancements.

Maintain detailed delivery plans, schedules, dependencies, and resource forecasts aligned with approved priorities.

Ensure deliverables meet agreed requirements, quality standards, and operational readiness criteria.

Support implementation of tenant- and staff-facing system improvements, including phased rollouts and enhancements
Governance, Risk & Controls

Operate within the established Homes governance framework, ensuring adherence to stage gates, approvals, and escalation protocols.

Identify, track, and manage delivery risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate material risks with mitigation options.

Support audit, assurance, and compliance requirements related to system delivery and controls
Vendor & Partner Management

Manage day-to-day performance of vendors, system integrators, and implementation partners, including Yardi representatives.

Coordinate vendor activities across Finance and work with ITS and business teams to ensure integrated delivery.
Financial Management & Reporting

Support the Director in the intake process for various HOMES initiatives to support decision making process

Facilitate discussion regarding project issues, risks, decisions and actions and ensure they are addressed or mitigated within Finance team or other divisions

Lead and facilitate meetings with vendor for business process design, functional requirements, reporting and data conversion requirement etc

Coach and provide guidance to project SMEs to ensure clear understanding of project deliverables, tasks, objectives and schedule, leading to successful completion of project deliverables
Stakeholder & Change Coordination

Act as a key liaison between ITS, Finance, Operations, and other business units impacted by Homes changes.

Lead, facilitate and provide direction on project activities such as future state process mapping, requirement gathering, testing, ensuring participation in workshop, project status updates.

Coordinate Business SMEs within their business function, ensuring appropriate participation in workshops and sessions, and project status updates

Scheduling time and working directly with the Vendor to discuss and review their business unit’s specific needs, how the Vendor can meet those needs and discuss/review alternatives.
Transition & Operational Readiness

Coordinate knowledge transfer, post-implementation support, and stabilization activities.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform stability and performance.
What you’ll need

University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience delivering technology or enterprise system initiatives within large, complex organizations

Demonstrated experience managing ERP or enterprise application implementations and optimizations, preferably in the public sector.

Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams, multi-vendor delivery, project controls, risk management, and executive-level reporting
-
Strong track record in project controls, risk management, and executive-level reporting.

Experience with Yardi Voyager, Homes, or comparable housing / ERP platforms is a strong asset.

Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred

Change management or ERP-related certifications are considered an asset
