We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely and effectively
- Measure and cut pipes accurately using appropriate tools and techniques
- Help with the assembly of plumbing components and fixtures according to specifications
- Support the setup and operation of welding equipment when necessary for pipe fitting projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during work activities
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to develop skills in HVAC, carpentry, maintenance, and other related trades
Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing principles, and construction methods
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment used in plumbing work
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations required in pipe fitting and installation
- Understanding of schematics and assembly instructions for plumbing components
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined or elevated spaces
- Willingness to learn new skills across multiple trades such as HVAC, carpentry, or maintenance
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures on all job sites
