As an Intermediate to Senior Civil Engineer (Municipal & Land Development) , you’ll play a key role in shaping resilient, sustainable communities across Kamloops and the Southern Interior of British Columbia .

Your Impact
- Design and deliver civil engineering solutions for municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway infrastructure projects.
- Lead preliminary and detailed design of linear infrastructure including watermains, sanitary and storm sewers, pump stations, and associated civil works.
- Manage projects from concept through construction, ensuring quality, schedule, budget, and risk objectives are achieved.
- Provide construction services including field reviews, progress reporting, and contract administration.
- Prepare technical reports, engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents that clearly communicate design intent.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, client‑focused solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients and project partners throughout the Southern Interior.
- Conduct field reviews at critical milestones
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure and/or land development projects.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia , or eligible for registration.
- Proven experience delivering civil design projects through construction, including contract administration.
- Strong working knowledge of municipal servicing standards and infrastructure systems.
- Proficiency with civil design software such as Civil 3D or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to project leadership and client relationships.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 – $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 – $112,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 – $107,700
