Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Barista to join our vibrant coffee shop team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a strong understanding of food and beverage preparation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and consistency
- Previous barista experience and knowledge of working with commercial espresso machines is required
- Operate POS systems, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling food items, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring proper food handling procedures
- Manage cashier responsibilities, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Restock supplies as needed and ensure the proper storage of food and beverages
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and timely service delivery
- Proven skills in food service, serving, and food preparation
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy

Pay: $17.20-$27.68 per hour
