Welder/Fitter
We're looking for a highly skilled welder/fitter for our busy manufacturing organization in the Port Kells area of Surrey.
Candidates must be able to attend an in person interview and perform a skills test.
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in both welding and fitting. Trade certification preferred (Red Seal), but equivalent experience will be considered. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and must be able to work independently with little supervision.
Applicants must have proficiency with aluminum and stainless TIG welding.
Preference given to candidates with prior experience using Orbital Welders.
Duties will include:
· Operating manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic welding equipment
· Interpreting welding process specifications
· Reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawing specifications, manuals and processes
Must have a valid BC Driver’s license. Both day and night shift available.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $34.49-$41.96 per hour
