We are looking for passionate renovation artisans. Here are the skills you need to lead renovation workshops.
- Proficiency in upholstery techniques (dismantling, fabric replacement, foam padding, webbing, stitching, finishing).
- Knowledge of essential tools and materials (staple gun, upholstery hammer, scissors, upholstery fabrics, foams, decorative nails, etc.).
- Ability to teach beginner-friendly projects (e.g., reupholstering a chair seat, restoring a small armchair).
- Patience, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
- Commitment to safe practices when using tools.
- Be available to lead in-person workshops in Toronto.
