Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the safety and security operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement, surveillance, and loss prevention, with the ability to lead a team effectively. This role involves managing security personnel, implementing security protocols, and ensuring the protection of personnel, property, and assets through proactive measures and surveillance technologies such as CCTV.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security staff to ensure comprehensive coverage and effective response to incidents.
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures aligned with company standards and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
- Lead investigations into security incidents, documenting findings accurately and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
- Train security personnel on surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response protocols.
- Oversee access control procedures to ensure authorized personnel are granted entry while unauthorized individuals are denied access.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, patrols, and security activities for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in law enforcement, private security, or related fields with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively under pressure.
- Good understanding of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and legal compliance standards.
- Ability to analyze situations quickly and make sound decisions in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents and coordinating with law enforcement agencies when needed.
- Certifications related to security management or law enforcement are a plus but not mandatory.
Pay: $17.20-$21.75 per hour
