Who we are:
We're My Belle Maison, a small residential cleaning company in Montreal's West Island. Our whole thing is treating both our clients and the people we work with as humans first, not numbers. We care about doing beautiful, careful work (beautifully clean, professionally done, as we like to put it), keeping things relaxed and respectful, and building relationships that last rather than churning through people.
The role:
We're looking to bring on an experienced cleaner on a contract basis to take on flexible jobs as they come up. This isn't a punch-the-clock kind of role. It's more of a partnership: someone already in the industry who has a bit of room in their schedule and would love steady, well-paid work alongside people who actually respect the craft. If you take pride in your work and like running your own show, you'll feel at home with us.
One quick thing before you read on:
This'll save us both time, so I'll say it up front. This role needs a reliable car. We cover homes across the West Island, so getting between jobs on your own is a must. If that's not something you have right now, this particular role won't be the right fit.
The basics:
- $30/hour, paid per contract
- Part-time, flexible scheduling around the jobs you take on
- West Island homes
- A long-term working relationship (not a one-off)
What we're looking for in you:
- Solid previous experience cleaning residential homes (we don't provide training, so you're already confident in your craft)
- Your own cleaning supplies and equipment
- Liability insurance (we offer a one-month grace period if you need a little time to get it set up)
- Comfortable invoicing for completed work (no cash payments, we keep everything above board)
- Some genuine room in your schedule, and an interest in working together over the long haul
- own your own car
