Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers effectively
- Assist in merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote products
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and refunds
- Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain organized product displays and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately
- Manage time efficiently to assist multiple customers during busy periods
- Follow phone etiquette standards when communicating with customers over the phone
- Support store team in achieving sales goals through proactive engagement and product knowledge
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in merchandise.
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with product demos is a plus
- Bilingual skills (English plus another language) are highly desirable for serving diverse customers
- Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience with merchandising, POS systems, and cashiering is advantageous
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Customer service experience that emphasizes professionalism and patience
