First Impressions Cleaning Services is seeking a dedicated Commercial Cleaning Team of two to join our early morning shift in Barrie.
This role is ideal for a couple (team of two) or individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in various commercial facilities.
The team will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients' employees and visitors.
Prior experience in cleaning, facilities maintenance, or related fields is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
The position involves cleaning a commercial facility in Barrie twice per week:
- Thursday mornings – cleaning must be completed between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM ONLY
- Saturday mornings – cleaning must be completed between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM ONLY
The work typically takes approximately 1.5 - 2 hours per visit for a team of two and 3 -4 hours per visit for individuals.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces including, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to meet cleanliness standards
- Washing of walls.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Maintain equipment and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively
- Adhere to scheduled early morning shifts to minimize disruption to client operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Possess a valid drivers licence and have reliable transportation to arrive promptly for early morning shifts
- This is a subcontractor position. Applicants must provide their own cleaning equipment and supplies, and are responsible for paying their own taxes at the end of the year.
- Must be willing to sign a Non-Compete Agreement.
- Must be able to pass any necessary background checks or screening processes required by the company.
- All areas are under constant client surveillance.
- Must be bondable.
- Italian or Portuguese speaking is an asset.
