Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using POS systems.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising quality.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in opening or closing procedures when required.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner to promote a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Previous 2 years of barista experience is required .
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and measuring ingredients.
- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Serving It Right certification is required.
