Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and dependable Truck Drivers specialized in end dump and tandem dump operations to join our team. This role involves transporting materials efficiently and safely across various job sites, ensuring attention to detail when following instructions from site operators. The ideal candidate will be a driver that takes pride in there work and helps the mechanics by lightening there load by taking on some simple maintenance etc. This is not a position to train on and is required that you can back a trailer like a professional.
Duties
- Operate end dump and tandem dump trucks to haul mud or gravel.
- Inform the maintenance team of any needs of maintenance or failing instruments.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on trucks and heavy equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
Skills
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for end dump and tandem dump trucks.
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, safety standards, and traffic laws.
- Mechanical aptitude with basic automotive repair skills for routine maintenance.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently under varying conditions.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and management.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads, climbing in/out of trucks, and performing inspections.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
