Structured Cabling:
- Interpret and verify service orders, specifications, drawings, schematics and special requirements and instructions
- Running, pulling, terminating and splicing various network, data, and fiber cabling
- Mount telecommunication equipment, routers, switches etc. all while following industry standards, best practices and manufacturer requirements.
- Assist in setting up hubs, routers and switches using information provided by appropriate engineers/contacts/senior technicians
- Maintain customer rapport by listening and resolving concerns, provide updates, answer questions or escalate to senior employees for resolution if required.
- Must work well with little supervision individually and in a team environment Provide accurate time/work logs and notes
- Able to operate automotive equipment and hand power tools
- Carry out the mechanical and physical installation activities
Security systems installations (NOT REQUIRED but an asset):
- Knowledge of various security related systems and their components (CCTV, access control, alarm systems.
- Install and program various different security systems such as: NVR and cameras, access controllers, card readers, facial recognition, alarm control panel, motion detectors, door contacts, etc.
- Programming of software related to security component

Scissor Lift License
WHMIS Certification

Structured cabling (2 years preferred)
Network cabling
Basic cabling
