Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team at Armour Security and Protection Services in Vancouver, BC . In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining safety and security for our clients by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Your efforts will directly contribute to our company's mission of providing top-tier security services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security breaches.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure the protection of property and personnel.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain detailed reports of daily activities and incidents.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information.
- Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security procedures is a plus.
