Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, mixing, and assembling ingredients to support kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including counters, utensils, and equipment, adhering to strict sanitation standards.
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and assisting with setup and breakdown.
- Clear dining areas promptly to ensure a clean and inviting environment for guests.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards at all times.
- Contribute to cooking processes under supervision, gaining experience in various culinary techniques.
- Support the overall food service operation by assisting with serving guests when needed and ensuring timely delivery of meals.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices.
- Experience with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning.
- Knowledge of bussing, serving, or supporting banquet events is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward hospitality service.
