Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commis Comptable to join our finance team. This role is essential in supporting the company's accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software and possess strong analytical skills to contribute effectively to our financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or Workday.
- Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist with account analysis and budgeting activities to support financial planning.
- Process payroll using systems like ADP, Ceridian, Kronos, or UltiPro, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures in collaboration with the accounting team.
- Utilize various accounting tools such as PeopleSoft, Data entry platforms, and other financial services software to streamline operations.
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Workday, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, Kronos, UltiPro, and ADP.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, account reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Experience with payroll processing and related systems like ADP or Ceridian.
- Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately for budgeting and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of financial services industry standards and practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
