Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate POS systems to process sales quickly and accurately
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision
- Provide product information and conduct product demos when necessary
- Upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the checkout area is tidy
- Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Follow company policies for cash handling, security, and customer privacy
- Support team members with additional tasks to ensure smooth store operations
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities (English required) are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Strong communication skills, time management, and organizational skills essential for success
- Experience in merchandising, upselling, or technical sales such as product demos is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while managing multiple responsibilities effectively
Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
