Our client, a respected mid-sized, full-service law firm in downtown Vancouver, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its busy and collaborative litigation team.

Organize, maintain, and manage litigation files from opening through resolution

Receive, review, analyze, and organize large volumes of documents

Prepare document lists and manage document production

Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, and other court documents

Conduct court, corporate, and legal research as required

Perform court registry searches and obtain court records

Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties

Assist lawyers with all aspects of litigation file management

Provide support on additional litigation matters as required

Paralegal diploma or certificate from an accredited institution

Minimum 4 years of experience working in a law firm

At least 2 years of litigation paralegal experience

Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court documentation

Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills

Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Experience with document management systems is an asset

Experience with legal accounting or practice management software is considered an asset

Salary of $80,000–$85,000, depending on experience
