GreenTee Country Club Westwood Plateau is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused team members to join our Weddings & Special Events team as Day of Wedding Coordinators. This position plays a vital role in delivering our "Above & Beyond" service philosophy by ensuring every couple enjoys a seamless and unforgettable wedding day.
Position Summary
The Day of Wedding Coordinator works closely with the Special Events team to execute weddings from start to finish. You will be the primary point of contact for the bridal couple on their wedding day, ensuring timelines are followed, vendors are coordinated, and every detail is executed professionally.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the wedding day timeline is followed for the bridal couple and vendors.
- Facilitate wedding rehearsals.
- Greet the bridal party upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout the event.
- Coordinate ceremony logistics and assist with wedding day flow.
- Oversee vendor arrivals, deliveries, and setup.
- Assist with transportation of the wedding party on property when required.
- Serve the head table during the reception.
- Coordinate key reception moments including entrances, speeches, first dances, and cake cutting.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Westwood Plateau's "Above & Beyond" service philosophy.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Special Events Manager or Food & Beverage Management team.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (required).
- Serving It Right Certificate (required).
- Previous serving and/or event experience is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age due to alcohol service requirements.
Availability Requirements
Applicants must be available:
- Monday through Wednesday: 3:30 PM onwards
- Thursday through Sunday: Open availability (any time)
