Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, and control panels.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work efficiently and safely.
- Conduct renovations and upgrades of existing electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential electrical issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovation projects to ensure electrical components meet project specifications.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and future reference.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times during project execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Experience working with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and schematics.
- Background in construction or renovation projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in the industry.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred but not mandatory for all roles depending on jurisdiction.
