Chef de Partie Position Details:
Burdock is looking to add a person to our kitchen team at our Kensington Tavern Steakhouse. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and the culture that surrounds it. We run a small rotating menu that takes inspiration from the seasons and local producers. We use top quality Canadian beef supplied by The Packing House. We make most things in house including ferments, pickles, sauces and desserts. We work with the culture of a fine dining restaurant using modern and classic cooking techniques, striving for the best in every detail, but focusing on creating a more casual and comforting dining and working experience.
Our kitchen is kind, welcoming, creative and passionate about food and the people we work with.
The ideal candidate has some previous cooking experience and truly enjoys cooking. We work as a team through the physical and creative process to create a cuisine and kitchen culture we are all proud of.

Burdock is a Brewery, Restaurant and Music Hall in Bloordale, now in its 11th year of operation. We now also have a Steakhouse Tavern in Kensington Market! We are a team of hospitality professionals who are dedicated to providing great service and making really good beer.
Job Type: Part time to Full time
Salary: $20-22 per hour plus tips and a Health Spend Account ($100/mo)
