Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and hospitality skills are valued. Prior hotel or custodial experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The Housekeeping Room Attendant plays a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and upholding the cleanliness standards of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all areas are sanitized and maintained in a neat and orderly manner
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow established procedures for handling guest requests and special accommodations
- Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, public areas, and storage closets as needed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist with laundry duties as required to support overall hotel operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality preferred; industrial cleaning experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and reliability
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; availability during weekends or holidays is advantageous but not mandatory
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
