Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hairdresser to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves creating stylish and personalized haircuts, color treatments, and styling for clients while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. The Hairdresser will also assist with retail sales and front desk duties to ensure smooth salon operations.
Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and special treatments tailored to client preferences
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering expert advice on hair care and styling options
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Upsell retail hair care products to enhance client experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
- Engage with clients to build strong relationships, ensuring repeat business and positive reviews
- Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Cosmetologist with
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Expertise in various hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling tools
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures in a salon environment
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing professional recommendations
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not mandatory
- A friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best
