About the Role
GrowFund is looking for a Software Engineer to develop and maintain its digital platform. The role includes backend and front-end development, API integration, database work, testing, and secure handling of user information.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and platform features.
- Build responsive and user-friendly front-end components.
- Support features related to user accounts, document uploads, loan matching, and application workflows.
- Integrate third-party services and AI-based platform functions.
- Test, troubleshoot, and improve system performance.
- Follow secure coding and data-protection practices.
- Maintain clear and organized technical documentation.
- Work closely with product, AI, and business team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in software, backend, full-stack, or SaaS development.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or a similar language.
- Experience with frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Node.js, Express, React, or Vue.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
- Knowledge of APIs, authentication, cloud services, and secure application development.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, financial services, or data-based platforms is an asset.
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Vancouver, BC
