Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing expert medication management, patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Kroll , POS, medication administration, and patient care protocols, with experience in community pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions accurately in accordance with physicians’ orders and legal regulations
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of medication dispensing and patient interactions on kroll and scan all document
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering, storage, and expiration checks
Requirements
- Valid pharmacist license in Ontario
- Prior community pharmacy experience
- Independ working alone ( very slow pharmacy )
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical standards
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled, including 1 weekday (fixed) and 1 saturday (minimum per month) or emergency shift if necessary
Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
